Very early (low serial #, <150) Brian Moore MC/1 in mint condition. Owned from new, immaculate, complete with some correspondence with the maker & distributor too. Another museum piece from my collection.
Brian Moore gained his expertise working with graphite and carbon fibre at Steinberger. He went on to make these guitars with a carbon fibre one-piece chassis with fancy maple tops. They sound woody, not plastic.
This example has a deep quilt and is the hard tail HSS variant. Five way switch, coil tap on tone knob. Pickups are Seymour’s JB’s all round, hot but detailed. It's a really nice player with an interesting unplugged sound for noodling too.
A few other nice features ; Sperzel locking tuners which work; jack socket on back out of harm’s way. Rare and fabulous.
