This is my Taylor GC7e which I bought new from Mansons in Exeter in February 2012 and is in excellent condition, I would say as new apart from the following 2 points, both shown in photos.
Firstly, as is normal for its age, there is some slight discolouration to the Tusq nut and saddle.
Secondly, as shown in the closeup photos, there are 2 very tiny areas of lacquer on the back at each side of the top of the lower bout where it meets the edge binding that have slightly faded and a similar one at the base of the neck heel. As far as I can see, there does not appear to be any lifting or cracking and I can feel no unevenness to the surface, probably more visible in the photos than in real life. Any other marks seen in pictures are reflections.
It has the Taylor Expression System, which I was told is the later version and significantly better than the earlier version, and comes with its original Taylor hard-shell case which is also as new.
It is quite a small guitar with a slotted headstock, all solid rosewood / cedar in a Grand Concert body with a 24-7/8 inch scale length, which gives it a really sweet and articulate sound, but very punchy for its size. I would say it has quite a deep and mellow tone rather than the brighter, thinner sound that I would normally associate with a Taylor.
The slightly shorter scale and a low action, which I have tried to show in the photos, make it easy and comfortable to play.
I have reduced the price to £1,495 for it and would prefer the guitar to be picked up so have not included postage/shipping in the price. If this is required, please contact me to discuss.
Please contact me if you would like more specific photos or further information, all of which I will be happy to provide.
I have put a link and some information from the Taylor site below.
Also, an interesting review.
