This is a really nice example of one of the Fuji Gen Gakki-made "Les Paul killers" from the early 1980s.
It is all-original, and is one of the rare "Brass Beauties" which came with brass pickguard, tone/volume pots, pickup selector and jack plate. It doesn't have the brass nut that the AR-100 in the catalogue below has, but I'm not sure that would be that great anyway.
The guitar is very heavy and sustains for years, and the Super 70 pickups are superb. It comes with the original hard case.
There is a lot of information in the link below:
Less good bits:
- As you can see from the pictures, some of the brass has had a tough time over the last 38 years - there's a beautiful patina on the pots, but the pickguard just looks a bit rusty - cool in its own way but not pristine
- There is some wear to the frets - it could do with a service
Collection from East London, or I could possibly deliver if we can agree on something.
No trades as there is something I have my eye on - unless you have a Japanese 335 copy in Cherry Red (Ibanez AS, Tokai ES, Yamaha SA)...
