Excellent example of this fantastic guitar. If you are looking at this you probably know what it is, but if you don't, it's the stripped down tremolo-equipped version of the famous SG series. The model number is a bit confusing as contrary to what the number might indicate this is actually one of the high end models with the Spinex pickups as used on the SG3000. It has the advantage of being thinner and therefore lighter than the extremely heavy SG3000 (my not very accurate bathroom scales show it about 1 1/2 -2 pounds lighter than my 3000). You may well also prefer the toned-down appearance as the 3000 is rather glitzy and generally a bit of a dad guitar. This one is fully working with no issues that I can find and so far as I can tell all original with the exception of the cover for the trem unit on the back, (the original probably cracked on a belt buckle I imagine). Cosmetically it's excellent, especially for an all-black, unbound guitar of this age. Serial number shows it was made in Japan on October 4th, 1984, the truss rod cover identifies it as an SG1300TS. These are fairly scarce in the UK and the ones in Japan are usually more expensive than this now, meaning that they are becoming more sought after there. You'll have to try hard and be lucky (or pay more) to find a better example. Comes with a sturdy but non-original hard case. Available for testing and cash on collection from Islington, north London. Sorry, I will not ship this guitar.
