I am the original owner of all of the Boss pedals, bought new in the 1980s, except for the BCB-6 pedal board and PSM-5 power supply which were bought second-hand in 1986. All components were made in Japan.
BCB-6 Pedal Board/Case Serial: N/A Year: 1983
PSM-5 Power Supply Serial: 327600 Year: 1983
DD-2 Digital Delay Serial: 603000 Year: 1985
GE-7 Graphic Equalizer Serial: 621000 Year: 1986
CE-2 Chorus Serial: 445800 Year: 1984
DS-1 Distortion Serial: 763900 Year: 1987
CS-2 Compression Sustainer Serial: 420200 Year: 1984
Everything is in superb condition having spent the last 25 years in storage. The only flaw is an unfortunate small chip in the blue paint on a top corner of the CS-2. I will include the original boxes and instructions for the CE-2 and DD-2 which are also in superb condition, and the instructions only for the PSM-5. The DD-2 box still has a ‘Thanks To The World, 1976-1985 3,000,000 Units’ tab, the shop price sticker on the end, (Kingfisher Music, Fleet, £133) and even the original plastic protection bag the pedal was wrapped in. Sadly, I no longer have the boxes for the other pedals.
I include the original Boss power cord with 2-pin continental-style plug that came with the PSM-5, but also a replacement power cord with a UK 3-pin plug.
I have tested all the pedals which work faultlessly.
I cannot stress enough the condition of all the components which is stunningly good. Apart from the paint chip on the CS-2, the pedals look virtually new.
