A beautiful sounding Woodfield guitar. It has been much loved and played. The condition cannot be described as perfect, as there is some fade on the shellac finish on the back where the guitar has been in contact with the player and playing marks below the rosette. Hopefully the photographs show this. There are other small marks unsurprising in a guitar of this age. The guitar has also had a repair, which was carried out by Philip himself. The detailed photos of the lower top bout show this. They are very difficult to spot and don't seem to have affected the sound in any way. Philip valued the guitar in it's present condition at £2000 (GBP). Any serious offers will be accepted. It is a great opportunity to own one of Philip Woodfield's fine guitars for a very reasonable price.A recent sale of a 1993 model was about £3800 .Though a little road worn,it is still a wonderful instrument. She's called Ada, was born in 2003 and is the 175th offspring! Collection or delivery can be arranged at the buyers discretion. Also included is the original Hiscox case.
