PRS 513 with Brazilian Rosewood Neck & signed by Paul Reed Smith

An original version of the PRS 513 with a solid Brazilian rosewood neck, signed by Paul Reed Smith himself during his visit to the UK in November 2013. This is not a new guitar but is in excellent condition. Close scrutiny will reveal VERY light surface scratches in the gloss finish on the back. The top is scratch free. There are no dings and dints but there are two tiny imperfections in the binding (see photographs). These are barely noticeable in the flesh. It comes complete with a deluxe hard shell case and tags.

The flamed maple dark cherry sunburst top is gorgeous and looks even better in the flesh. Construction is a one piece mahogany body, one piece Brazilian rosewood neck with a ‘513’ neck profile and 25 1/4″ scale length. The 22 fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is fitted with a set of special 513 gold mother of pearl bird inlays. The headstock is finished with a matching Brazilian rosewood headstock facia, along with a gold mother of pearl inlay for the PRS signature logo. The nickel hardware includes a set of PRS 14:1 ratio locking tuners, plus the PRS modern fulcrum tremelo system, that incorporates a set of 6 milled brass bridge saddles .

The electronics package delivers 13 modern + vintage tones via the 5 pickups. The 5 way switch is a regular pick-up selector, whilst the 3 way ‘mode’ switch allows you to select between single coil, clear/vintage humbucking or modern/heavy humbucking modes. This is a VERY versatile guitar but NOT a “jack of all trades but master of none” . It has fabulous sustain. The Brazilian rosewood neck is not only a joy to play, but produces wonderful sounds.

If purchased from outside of the UK the buyer is responsible for all import duties and taxes.

The £50 delivery charge applies only to shipping within the UK. For other destination the charge will vary.
