Top Spec Acoustic Guitar W/Pick-ups - Takimine ProSeries P1NC

I am reluctantly selling my guitar after inheriting a rare-vintage acoustic and needing funds to fix it up for my requirements.

This guitar has been used and 'played in' giving it the edge over a new shop bought guitar.

I have owned this guitar since 2017, and being a regular gigging musician/song-writer, this has suited all my needs perfectly. You will not find a better sounding, gig-ready guitar under a grand.

The wood:
This guitar is made of Solid Cedar top, Sapele back and sides, a Mahogany neck and Rosewood fretboard. It's a truly formidable combination to the eye, and gives a rich, lively and well rounded tone. These are all top quality materials; a standard that is maintained right the way through the build to the headstock/pegs/electronics.

I play using both finger-picking and more rhythmic strumming styles, & this guitar suits both. It has a slightly wider neck than some guitars, and this allows a little more room for picking and fingering. It's body extends out at the bottom (in a parlour style) making it a loud and robust sounding guitar. It should be noted that despite this, the guitar does not feel big or cumbersome, but is shaped as such that it is comfortable to hold and to play.

The electronics:
This is Takamine's real selling point. Their in-built electronics are second to none, featuring their own trademarked CT4B II Preamp System with 3-band EQ, Volume Control, Built-in Tuner and Palathetic™ Under-Saddle Pickup.
This is basically a pick-up for every single string. I have never failed to get an authentic natural sound through amps and PA systems alike, something that is notoriously tricky to do. When revealing my Takamine at gigs, it always raises a smile from the sound-man, as Takamine are well-known to be the industry leaders in in-built acoustic pick-ups.

Besides this, this guitar performs beautifully with or without amplification. I bought this guitar new, and I am sad to be parting with it as it has begun to age and mature in sound. It has developed a wonderfully rich, bright and woody tone that I have not been able to better with any other guitar in it's price range.

Having played it and gigged it regularly over it's two years with me, there are a couple of nicks and blemishes. One just above the the sound-board, by the strap peg (see pictures), and another minor scrape at the very base of the guitar. I have had these checked with a professional, and have been assured that none of these undermine the sound or structural integrity of the guitar. It has been well loved and serviced during it's time. It is an incredibly well-built, solid-made guitar which will give at least a lifetime of service to the right owner.

Due to these nicks and bruises, it is selling at a bargain price.
Luxury original hard-case included.

Hit me up with any questions, and come give it a play - my address is easily reached via train from London Bridge, being just a 5 minute walk from the station.
